“EQ: The Aesthetic Response” – work by Julie Ferris

Join us Friday, September 4th as Jelinek Creative Spaces Proudly Presents:
“EQ: The Aesthetic Response” – work by Julie Ferris

EQ Exhibtion

Julie specializes in equestrian portraiture and explores the horse in her own personal works. Through the use of color and various representations, she aims to capture a thought or idea through portraying the horse’s character and emotion. She is also drawn to parallels found in the relationship between a horse and rider: the bond and the unique partnership. Julie strives to pay homage to its noble character and unparalleled beauty. The color white is intentionally used in her backgrounds to allow complete focus on the equine subject and convey a message of light and positivity.
